So I had a strange dream last night.
I was at Logan's Pub (oooh big surpirse there) and I went in and ordered a drink at the bar. There was a band playing and as I approached the bar their set ended and I had just heard enough to realize that it was Nickelback on stage.
As I waited in line for a beer Nickelback's Chad Kreoger (or however you spell that horse-faced mongoloid's name) approached from behind, reaching over to the CD player to play some intermission music. The CD he played was again... Nickelback. The rush of annoyance overcame me and I turned around and walked over to him.
"You are such a fucking idiot. You can't suck enough on stage - you have to force us to listen to this shit even more???"
as I prepared to continue my rant and dig into him further he quickly picked up a pint glass and lunged towards me screaming in typical 604-caveman-esque fashion and smashed the pint glass in my face. The glass shattered across the bar and left my face punctured beyond repair to the point that my cheeckbone was potruding out of the skin, nerve endings hung down over the wound like freyed fabric. blood rushed down my neck and I new my equalibrium would give out at any second. As I stood there trying to regain composure he lunged again only this time being stopped mid way by Ryan the bartender who was then subjected to an elbow to the face but kept him in a locked position.
As I walked through the bar towards the exit the crowd split into two sides like an opening zipper keeping their distance from wounded me. I stumbled out the door and layed in a nearby garden.
A few hours later as the sun started to rise I woke up to find small group of my friends next to me pressing cloth to my face. Ryan was there with a cotton bandage across his face. He stood next to a revolving sprinkler with bucket catching a few drops as it shot towards him and use the water to wash out our wounds. I got up and wandered the streets looking for the worst musician in the world. As I walked from block to block I tired quickly and decided to steal a nearby taxi that was parked outside a convenince store with the motor left running.
I never found Chad Kreuger, but since that dream I know I'll always hate him. I hated his band, and I've always hated their music, but now - I really hate him. I realize that this was just a dream - but I've just decided it would be justafiable to hate him personally as well.
