Nickelback Inspire School Of Rock
Members of Nickelback haven't lived at home for years but the band is still leaving its mark on Hanna, Alberta. Inspired by the success of their hometown heroes, local teens have set up a real life "school of rock". They have successfully raised money to bring in college music professors from Edmonton to teach weeklong workshops. Through their publicist, Nickelback has praised the effort and urged the kids of Hanna to "keep up the good work."

Well, maybe not dead. But with groups like this leading the charge these days, it's no wonder that country music is doing so well.
